It's 1922, New York City is a social hot spot of jazz and modern living, and Millie Dillmount has just arrived and is determined to find a job and marry her boss! But almost as soon as she arrives Millie is left penniless and in need of a place to stay. She finds out about the Hotel Priscilla, a hotel for young ladies which houses many out of town girls looking for their big break. Millie makes some new friends while there, lands a job, and finds herself pining away after a streetwise city slicker, Jimmy Smith. However, Millie is determined to marry for money and pushing Jimmy out of her head, makes it her goal to win over her boss. As her adventures continue, Millie samples the “Thoroughly Modern” way of living, deals with her unusual landlady, finds unexpected romance, and narrowly escapes a white slavery ring! Full of singing and tap dancing, this stage adaptation of the 1967 movie will have you laughing and dancing in your seats!  Presented by DaySpring's 12-18 yr old Musical Theater class.
