Mini Makers: Art Adventures
Ages 5-6
Designed for young students to explore famous artists and the elements of art using a variety of materials including paint, oil pastel, clay, and much more! While learning about value, shape, color, line, form, and texture, students will be able to begin exploring their own creativity and make lots of fun and interactive projects each week!
Imagination Station: Creative Journeys
Ages 7-9
These project-based lessons are designed to teach students about the principles of art. They will participate in a variety of projects using different media like mixed media, sculpture, drawing, and painting. Students will begin a basic understanding of the elements and principles of art seen in both their own art and others’ including many famous artists in history. This is a very fun and active class for eager kids!
Clay for Young Artists
Ages 7-12
Dive into clay to learn the basics of hand building, sculpture, and texture! Students will create sculptures using various types of clay and techniques to further develop pottery skills.
Building with Everyday Materials
Ages 10+
This class will combine Art + Architecture. Students will learn to create 3 D structures through artistic exploration. This class uses everyday materials like paper, cardboard, legos, recyclable and natural materials to create interesting 3 dimensional structures.
Geometric Art
Ages 10+
In this engaging STEAM class, students will discover the exciting intersection of geometry and art. They will learn how to use geometric shapes as building blocks to create unique and visually appealing artwork. Through hands-on activities and creative exercises, students will explore concepts such as symmetry, patterns, proportions, and spatial relationships.
Mixed Media
Ages 10+
Combine multiple art mediums like collage, printmaking, and stenciling in this mixed media session! Students will learn basic art skills such as value, and composition and how they can be applied with a combination of mediums to create mixed media art!
Painting Pioneers
Ages 10+
Learn the fundamentals of art making using drawing and painting. Use a variety of materials and explore the world of drawing and painting portraits, still life, and even your own imagination in this class! This class will focus on refining your painting and drawing skills while exploring color, texture, and materials.
Clay Handbuilding
Ages 12+
A beginner to intermediate class, working with clay is for people who want to have fun exploring clay through tile-making, hand-building and more. From sculpture to functional serving pieces, participants create works in clay in a well-designed studio and supportive environment. This class is geared towards adults and teens.
Photography Essentials
Ages 12+
This beginners photography course will teach students how to create amazing and creative images. Whether you have a regular camera or a phone camera this class will explore the basics of using camera angles and lighting to create their masterpieces!
