Half-Day Camps
Visual Arts Intensive
Ages 10+
This weeklong Visual Arts camp invites young artists of all skill levels to explore and create across various media. Designed to inspire creativity and curiosity, this half-day camp offers fun, skill-building projects, along with opportunities for both individual and collaborative artistic expression.
Arts Sampler
Ages 6-9
Join our dynamic introductory camp where participants explore theater, music, visual arts, and dance while making new friends, building confidence, and developing new skills. It’s a fun, creative experience full of memorable moments and opportunities to discover new passions!
Arts Fundamentals - Photography
Ages 12+
This beginners photography course will teach students how to create amazing and creative images. Whether you have a regular camera or a phone camera this class will explore the basics of using camera angles and lighting to create their masterpieces!
Anime Manga Camp
Ages 13+
Are you a fan of comic books, anime or manga? This camp is designed for both beginner to intermediate level artists. Learn drawing, inking, coloring and discussing Manga with old and new friends!
Comic Book Camp
Ages 13+
Unleash your imagination and bring your own comic book to life! In this camp, you'll master the essentials of storytelling, character creation, and world-building as you craft your unique comic from start to finish. Mini Makers: Art Adventures
Ages 5-6
Dayspring Arts and Education is excited to offer evening summer sessions for our youngest artists age 5-6! Combining creativity with fun, our camps offer exciting projects where participants learn to discover, explore, and imagine in their own unique ways, experimenting with a variety of art materials and methods that encourage the development of creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Imagination Station: Creative Journeys
Ages 7-9
Designed for young artists ages 7-9, participants will work together on various fun projects and experience the joys of making art with old and new friends. Projects may include painting, drawing, mixed-media, sculpture, and more.
Creative Masters: Art Camp
Ages 10-13
Dayspring Arts and Education is excited to offer an art open studio for artists 10-13! Students will be able to explore a variety of different media and create projects that reflect individualism, creativity, and technical skills. Projects will include sculpture, painting, drawing, and mixed media. This class will encourage learning technical skills while maintaining creativity and lots of fun!
Clay Handbuilding for Young Artists
Ages 6-8
This is a fun, hands-on class where young artists explore basic clay techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab-building to create imaginative projects. With guidance from our friendly instructor, kids will develop fine motor skills and self-expression while making unique clay creations to take home. All materials provided—no experience needed!
Clay Handbuilding Intermediate
Ages 9-13
Explore the world of ceramics in this intermediate class designed for ages 9-13! In this course, you will learn the fundamental hand-building techniques such as slab-building, coiling, and pinching to create beautiful and functional ceramic pieces. With step-by-step guidance, you'll experiment with shaping and molding clay into your own unique designs. We will also cover the basics of surface decoration, including texturing and glazing. This hands-on, supportive environment is perfect for anyone looking to explore a new creative outlet or start a new hobby.
